Before i post my list, I just want to let everyone know that our new album, The Hungarian Suicide Songbook, is coming out VERY soon and the album release show is this Valentine’s at the Comet. BE THERE! Say your prayers, papi, because it all ends soon. These are the albums that totally kicked ass in 2007. I listened to more new albums this year than any other time in my life, which is a lot of music. All of these albums were unique in sound, and accomplished in their songwriting. From two pop albums that are selected more for the awesome producers and songwriters behind the singers, to little heard gems by veterans that totally kicked ass. Buy these albums and enjoy! And see you all soon! xo JARED

Look! I am expressing myself. I am writing a blog.
It’s easier these days, to write blogs, now that I am unemployed. I am spending my Saturday (although, it may as well be Wednesday) sorting through the multitudes of pictures on my camera and the computer. And sipping on a glass of Armagnac, similar to Cognac, but–again, due to spare time–I have learned that it is NOT cognac. Regardless, it is delicious and it burns a whole straight to my liver…just the way I like it!
I would like to dedicate this blog to my dear friend Eric, without whom, I would not even be typing this. He spent much of his time creating this stupendous thing and by God we are going to use it. Or, at least I am. I promised Jessica. And because I love Eric, of course.
So, if you want to see fantastic pictures of Jared’s birthday, Christmas and my mom’s trip to Seattle..among other choice selections, do visit my myspace. (www.myspace.com/elbow3point1)
